After downing Green City in the opening round of district softball, Brashear faced Atlanta in the semi-finals. Atlanta quickly went to work with their bats, scoring 3 in the first and 6 in the 2nd to effectively put the game out of reach. Brashear managed to push across a run in the 2nd as Atlanta went on to a 13-1 win. Brashear finished the season with an 11-9 varsity record.
